Born and raised in the first state of Delaware, Michelle fell in love with music at an early age. She began singing in the church, and her gift was easily recognized by others. With the encouragement of her mother (to whom Michelle gives immeasurable thanks), friends, and family she decided to pursue her music full steam. Her journey to stardom has been boosted by her multifaceted skill set and well-rounded personality. Earning a bachelor's degree in Music Management from the University of Delaware (in addition to a Master's degree) and joining Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, the lady affectionately known as "Mickey" is much more than high notes and a pretty face. Even with these accomplishments, the devastating diva is set on leaving her mark in music, crafting music that connects with listeners' feelings and circumstances or inspiring them to take action for the better.
When first listening to Michelle-Lee sing, audiences immediately gravitate to the passion, truth and authenticity of her voice and sound. In every performance she connects with the crowd through worship and provides a glance at her relationship with Christ, displaying her love, energy, and humility on every note. She has earned her stripes working with groups such as Bob Lougheed and the Memphis Mafia Band, The Main Event Band, and as an Elvis tribute artist while performing at venues like the Grand Opera House, The Apollo Theater, World Café Live at the Queen, and more. It's her turn now, however, and God has filled Michelle with an arsenal of songs aimed to capture the hearts and minds of believers across the world.
